- Abstract : A straightforward approach for the fabrication of wrinkled amorphous graphite‐like carbon (G‐aC) coatings on polystyrene substrata is developed by taking advantage of the buckling, buckling‐driven delamination, and cracking processes occurring at the unstable G‐aC/polystyrene interface. This work provides a valuable insight into the role that extracellular polymeric substances and wrinkled topographies play in the design of efficient antifouling substrata.
