- Abstract : The Cover Feature shows a sodium‐metal battery assembled with thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer‐based gel polymer electrolyte and the secondary interactions occurring in the gel polymer electrolyte. The high elasticity of the gel polymer electrolyte arises from the hydrogen bonds between urethane and carbonyl groups, and the additional interactions between Na + ions and polymer chains increase salt dissociation, which contributes to the high ionic conductivity of the gel polymer electrolyte. These features make it a promising electrolyte for sodium‐metal batteries with good cycling stability and enhanced safety. More information can be found in the Full Paper by M.‐S.
