Abstract: Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Jovica Badjić at The Ohio State University, and colleagues. The image, by Radoslav Z. Pavlović (idea) and Jennifer F. Neal (design), depicts weak noncovalent contacts controlling the reported system's dynamic stereochemistry, which are shown as a dragon blowing fire at C−H groups. Abstract : " We hope that our discovery will initiate studies that utilize weak C−H⋅⋅⋅X−C interactions in creating novel and functional supramolecular systems. These interactions are weak but combining them with other non‐covalent contacts and ensuring effective packing between the components could yield a powerful proach towards building complex supramolecular structures ."
