Abstract

Abstract: In this study, fine lattice structural titanium dioxide ceramics were produced by DLP 3D printing. A suitable titanium dioxide ceramic slurry for DLP 3D printing was prepared. TiO2 ceramic green body was prepared by using a home-made DLP 3D printer. Fine lattice structural titanium dioxide ceramics with a porosity from 50% to 80% were prepared by optimizing the debinding and sintering process. The precision of strut can reach 200 μm. By controlling the process parameters of debinding and sintering, ceramic cracking and collapse caused by resin volatilization were effectively avoided. The obtained ceramics were found to be rutile phase TiO2. With the decrease of porosity, the compressive strength of lattice ceramics can be increased from 1.13 MPa to 1.50 MPa. The porous titanium dioxide ceramics prepared in this study can be used in bone tissue engineering, filters, radiators and other fields in the future.
