Abstract

Abstract : This article examines the current Russian poetry scene from the point of view of its attitude toward trauma, particular the trauma of the 1990s, which combined the end of the Soviet Union with various economic and philosophical difficulties—including the challenge of emerging information about the Gulag and other bad world events. Probshtein focuses on the poets who were present at a particular festival but cites widely on the topic.
