Abstract

Abstract : Abstract: Parts 1 and 2 of this series of articles addressed the clinical assessment of a patient's occlusal scheme and, where indicated, noted the appropriate occlusal records required to permit further evaluations to take place. This article will focus on the clinical application of the principles discussed previously. CPD/Clinical Relevance: Following the assessment and recording of the static and dynamic intra-occlusal relationships, the application of the outcomes to achieve a long-term functional result is necessary to appreciate the relevance in clinical scenarios of the determinants, and their interaction is described.
