- Abstract : Metal-oxide nanocomposites comprising rhodium (Rh) nanoparticles (<50 nm) and oxygen-deficient niobium oxides (NbO x : x < 5/2) were developed from Rh3 Nb alloy precursors. Abstract : Metal-oxide nanocomposites comprising rhodium (Rh) nanoparticles (<50 nm) and oxygen-deficient niobium oxides (NbO x : x < 5/2) were developed from Rh3 Nb alloy precursors. The Rh-NbO x nanocomposite exhibited enhanced activity toward the catalytic remediation of nitrogen oxide (NO) in the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) without emissions of nitrous oxide (N2 O) due to the promoted dissociation of NO admolecules at the Rh/NbO x interface.
