- Abstract : Addressing the fragmentation of cancer care requires the strengthening of existing health systems and bridging the divide between low‐volume and high‐volume hospitals and non–safety net and safety net hospitals. This can be accomplished through restructuring, investment, and cross‐collaboration between institutions that promote multidisciplinary and multi‐institutional care.
