Abstract: Bacteroides bouchesdurhonensis sp. nov., strain Marseille-P2653 T (= CSUR; P2653=DSM103120) is a new bacterial species belonging to the Firmicutes phylum in the family Bacteroidaceae that was isolated from the human gut microbiota.
