Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature shows that the adsorbed methanol monomers diffuse efficiently and encounter other monomers or clusters on the graphite surface, even at very low surface coverage. For desorption, the molecules first need to detach from the clusters, and then these monomers desorb from the graphite, rather than desorbing from the clusters directly.
