- Abstract : Three dimensionally cross‐linked resole is generally considered chemical‐resistant. In their Communication onpage 654 ff., C. Yu et al. report an oxidative dissolution approach that was developed using nitrates and protons for the controllable etching of resole‐type resins, which enables the construction of a series of carbon–silica nanocomposites. In the picture, ice is an analogy for resole, which barely reacts/melts.
