- Abstract : Hydrogen ions are ideal charge carriers for rechargeable batteries due to their small ionic radius and wide availability. In their Communication onpage 11569 ff., C. Yan et al. explore the redox chemistry of MoO3 for ultrafast hydrogen‐ion storage by ex situ X‐ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, and reflection electron energy loss spectroscopy. The conversion reaction for the first hydrogen‐ion intercalation process and the highly reversible redox reactions during the subsequent cycling have been studied.
