- Healthcare is becoming more and more important in modern society. In order to prevent some health symptoms happening in daily life, it is important to develop an efficient model to simulate the human physiological performance for predicting and reducing accidents like dehydration, exertional heatstroke, syncope, even sudden death and so on. In this paper, a novel human physiological computer simulation model is introduced. A nonlinear heart rate regulation model and a two-node thermal regulation model are integrated together to simulate the human physiological indices like core temperature, dehydration amount and heart rate. Experiment results show that the proposed physiological simulation model can well simulate the human physiological mechanisms, and some important numerical computation results predict the same trends as the experimental measurements. These simulation results can be used to analyse human physiological symptoms and assist the health risk assessment in the healthcare.
