- Abstract: Structural and electrical properties of Pr2 ZnTiO6 (PZTO) ceramic synthesized by the solid-state reaction technique have been carried out. The X-ray diffraction analysis was indicated as a pure perovskite phase in the monoclinic structure. The electrical properties of the material were investigated by impedance spectroscopy analysis for a broad range of temperatures (303–603K) and frequency domain of 52−10 6 Hz. Complex impedance analysis was carried out in order to distinct the contribution of the grains and the grain boundaries to the electrical conduction. The frequency dependent ac conductivity shows three types of conduction process. The reciprocal temperature dependence of σdc followed Arrhenius equation. The activation energy was found to be 0.23eV. This indicated that the conductivity was due to hopping of small polaron..
