Abstract

Abstract : The Cover Feature shows a simple, green, and scalable approach to prepare holey and distorted C‐doped g‐C3 N4 nanosheets from dicyandiamide and β‐cyclodextrin. This compound plays a crucial role in doping and introducing pores in g‐C3 N4, giving rise to a distorted structure with midgap states. These features contribute to enhance visible light absorption and create a new pathway for electron mobility, boosting the photocatalytic performance for H2 generation from water under solar activation.
