- Highlights: There are limitations in use of APTT for monitoring of unfractionated heparin (UFH). APTT was checked on Coagucheck, ACL TOP500 analyser and compared with heparin anti-Xa. Neither POCT nor laboratory APTT is suitable for monitoring unfractionated heparin.
