- Translation abstract: Energy provision and supply is an important topic both for society and education. This article presents school experiments for comparative research of hydrogen, methane and liquefied gas in regards to their combustion enthalpy. We focus on the mass‐ and volume‐related (respectively molar related) energy density, which can diverge. The experiments can be performed with simple materials and are suitable for class room tutorials and demonstration experiments.
