- ABSTRACT: An efficient piano note recognition scheme utilizing precise onset detection followed by segmented short-time Fourier transform (STFT) has been presented. The performance of the proposed scheme has been verified under different noise levels by adding additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) of different power levels with the original music signal, i.e. by examining the proposed method under different signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
