- Abstract : Abstract: Bone scintigraphy is a method of choice in evaluating metastatic disease in patients with prostatic cancer. We describe the case of a 77-year-old man who was subjected to bone scan for evaluation of secondary metastatic disease due to an elevated prostatic-specific antigen level (7.2). Bone scintigraphy demonstrated a huge photopenic area in the left upper abdominal area, as a result of a huge kidney cyst (15 × 13 cm).
