Abstract

Abstract : A reductive coupling of alkenes with unsaturated imines via a radical pathway is described. Abstract : The radical reaction of unsaturated imines is challenging and remains under investigation. In this paper, reductive coupling of unsaturated imines with alkenes via a radical pathway is reported. Various unsaturated imines and alkenes could well engage in this process to deliver structurally diversified benzofurans, benzothiophenes, and medium-sized benzofuran-fused heterocycles. The protocol features mild reaction conditions and broad substrate scope.
