- Abstract : Objective: To discuss the correlation between N terminal b-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and free fatty acid (FFA), heart type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) in heart failure preserved ejection fraction (HF-PEF). Design and Method: 140 patients with HF-PEF were selected from January 2013 to March 2015, 30 persons of healthy physical examination were selected as normal control group. To detect the contents of each patient serum NT-proBNP, FFA, H-FABP and to compare the differences of two groups. To evaluate the linear and multiple linear correlation betweent NT-proBNP and FFA, H-FABP. Results: NT-proBNP, FFA and H-FABP levels of the patient with HF-PEF were higher than the normal group (P < 0.01); NT-proBNP and FFA, H-FABP were positive correlation (r = 0.673, P < 0.01; r = 0.629, P < 0.01); Base on NT-proBNP as the dependent variable, base on both FFA, H-FABP together as the independent variables, making multiple linear correlation analysis. The evaluation of multiple linear regression model showed negative correlation coefficient (R) = 0.843, determination coefficient (R2) = 0.711, it showed that tow variables FFA, H-FABP introduced by the regression equation to explain NT-proBNP concentration variation was 71.1%; Two variables common had strong positive correlation between the concentration of NT-proBNP. Multiple linear regression equation: YNT-proBNP = 1.096XFFA +0.22XH-FABP -414.56, and the influence of FFA levels in the NT-proBNP was greater thanAbstract : Objective: To discuss the correlation between N terminal b-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and free fatty acid (FFA), heart type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) in heart failure preserved ejection fraction (HF-PEF). Conclusions: FFA and H-FABP may become the predictors of HF-PEF diagnosis. … (more)
