- Abstract: The present work discusses the possibility of probing radiative corrections in strong-field quantum electrodynamics for a future experiment. Therefore, the framework of self-consistent and fully relativistic particle-in-cell simulations is employed. In particular, the interaction of a solid target irradiated at normal incidence with an ultraintense laser pulse is considered. It is shown that one can form an adequate environment for a 100 GeV class electron beam to reach a completely novel super strong-field sector of quantum electrodynamics. In this regime, the influence of radiative corrections to strong-field processes can no longer be treated perturbatively. Since so far there is no reliable theory describing this strongly coupled regime, the present paper is dedicated to draw attention to this unstudied issue by pointing out a feasible experimental setup.
