- Abstract : Various neutral, mono- and dicationic halogen bond donors were screened for their ability to act as catalysts in a Nazarov cyclisation reaction. Abstract : Various neutral, mono- and dicationic halogen bond donors were screened for their ability to act as catalysts in a Nazarov cyclisation reaction. Using a highly preorganized dicationic catalyst with a noncoordinating counterion proved essential for high activity.
