Abstract

Highlights: Local residents mapped over 400 economic, social, cultural and ecological activities and values. Population growth and rapid tourism development are the major demands generating drivers. Pressures are specifically high on native coral rag vegetation, seagrass meadows, and coral reefs. Protected areas and their surroundings are service provisioning hotspots. Participatory mapping is invaluable approach for ICZM and MSP.
