Western Blots from Figure 2A are similar to Western Blots from Figures 3A, D of Reference [1], Figures 3A, D of Reference [2], Figure 1A of Reference [3], Figures 2A, D of Reference [4], Figures 1A, B of Reference [5], Figures 2A, B of Reference [6], Figures 2A, B of Reference [7] and Figures 2A, B of Reference [8]. Panels of Figure 3A are similar to panels of Figure 2B of Reference [1], Figure 3A of Reference [8] and Figures 3E, F of Reference [9]. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
