- Abstract : Parallel to cellular organelles, artificial organelles based on nanomaterials are necessarily responsive to molecular cues and are biocompatible in a molecularly crowded cytoplasm. In article number1801304, Ruikang Tang and co‐workers present rationally designed nanomaterials of gold–oligonucleotides, which act as artificial organelles and conferr cell self‐defense in the threatening chemotherapeutic milieu. This intracellular implantation of functional artificial organelles into cells provides a novel and promising tactic for adjusting cell behavior and for manufacturing super cells.
