Graphical abstract: Three new oleanane-type saponins acylated with monoterpenic acid, kamerunosides A, B, and C (1 –3 ) were isolated from the stem liana of Acacia kamerunensis . Cytotoxicity of1 –3 was evaluated against HL60 cells. Highlights: Three previously undescribed saponins were isolated from Acacia kamerunensis . Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods. Kamerunosides A, B, and C were assayed against HL-60 cells. Kamerunoside B exhibited the most cytotoxic activity. Abstract: Three previously undescribed oleanane-type saponins acylated with monoterpenic acid, kamerunosides A, B, and C were isolated from the stem liana of Acacia kamerunensis . Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive 1D and 2D NMR data and HRESIMS analyses. Their cytotoxicities were evaluated against HL60 cells. Kamerunoside B was the most cytotoxic.
