Abstract

Abstract: Three previously undescribed isoguanine glycosides with an N 3 -prenyl group, designated locustoside B, saikachinoside B, and saikachinoside C, have been isolated from the seed of Gleditsia japonica Miquel (Fabaceae) along with two known compounds, locustoside A and saikachinoside A. Their structures were determined from spectroscopic data and X-ray crystallographic analysis. The inhibitory activity against acid phosphatase was evaluated.
