Abstract

Highlights: Checkpoint inhibition is now commonplace in the treatment of metastatic SCCHN. Integrating immunotherapy into radical management of LAHNSCC seems to be safe. There is great need for robust response biomarkers to tailor treatments. Adjuvant trials will reveal where immunotherapy will sit in managing LASCCHN.
