Abstract

Abstract : Front Cover: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are exposed either by VUV photons emitted from oxygen or hydrogen plasmas or by VUV photons and neutral active species from both plasmas. VUV photons break the oxygen‐containing groups and H atoms increase water contact angle (WCA). Contrary, O neutrals decrease WCA and etch PET which form the surface O–C=O and the rough surface.
