- Abstract: Micron‐sized SAPO‐34 zeolites with hollow morphology are first prepared using triethylamine (TEA) and diethylamine hydrochloride (DEA·HCl) as dual templates via a facial one‐pot hydrothermal treatment. It is revealed that the morphology and crystal size of the obtained zeolites change significantly with the increased DEA·HCl/Al2 O3 ratio. Due to the reduced diffusion distance, larger micropore volume, and slightly stronger acid strength, the hollow materials demonstrate greatly enhanced catalytic activity in the methanol‐to‐olefins reaction. Because of the simple synthesis procedure, this method is of great importance and has the potential to be scaled up to an industrial level. Abstract : Hollow SAPO‐34 zeolites are synthesized with triethylamine and diethylamine hydrochloride as dual templates via facial one‐step hydrothermal method, which show greatly enhanced catalytic activity in the methanol‐to‐olefins reaction.
