Abstract

Abstract: Compliance with the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts (DBP) Rule is often achieved by treating water at a treatment plant to reduce DBP formation. However, it could be more cost‐effective to use localized treatment in the distribution system to target specific problem areas.
