- The one-pot, three-component reaction between isocyanides, electron-deficient acetylenic esters and 2-amino-1-methyl-1H-imidazol-4(5H)-one efficiently leads to highly functionalised 1, 2, 3, 5-tetrahydroimidazo[1, 2-a]pyrimidines without any activation in excellent yields at room temperature.
