Abstract

Abstract : Copper complexes of corroles have recently been attracting much interest due to their ligand non‐innocent character and unique redox properties. In this paper, bis‐copper(II) complexes of a triply‐linked corrole dimer and its two‐electron oxidized species were prepared as highly planar molecules. Their structures and magnetic properties were comprehensively studied. In the cover art, the structures of corroles are printed on the coins, one of which is made of copper. In Japanese custom, coins are often donated to a wooden box, named Saisenbako, in the shrine. The background picture is Heian‐Jingu shrine located in Kyoto.
