- Abstract : Different approaches are presented for the study of vibrational predissociation of triatomic van der Waals molecules. These methods are applied to the study of the He-I 2 when I 2 is excited to the B electronic state. The applicability of these methods is discussed in detail by comparing with "exact" quantum results.
