- Abstract : By using two independent and different methods, absolute values of the reaction cross-sections have been determined for the following chemiluminescent reactionsCa ( 3 P, 1 D ) + Cl 4 C ( CHBr 3 ) → CaX * ( A, B ) ( X = Cl, Br ) + Cl 3 C ( CHBr 2 ) andCa ( 1 D ) + H 2 O → CaOH * + H Both chemiluminescence and laser-induced fluorescence spectra are reported. A comparison with related types of reactions is also presented.
