- Abstract: Geographical information systems (GIS) are needed in planning and controlling land use as a basis for anticipating policy decisions in planning and structuring Tapaktuan territory. This study seeks to integrate GPS technology and remote sensing technology products such as Landsat-8 OLI satellite imagery, Landsat-7 ETM + using multitemporal methods using the supervised (Maximum Likehood) classification method. Based on the analysis of the processing of satellite images of nutmeg plantation area for several years, there has been an increasing spread of land use for nutmeg plantations.
