Abstract

Abstract: This paper documents a numerical method for time-harmonic wave scattering by an array of periodic penetrable obstacles. The fundamental solutions combining Rayleigh expansion is used to approximate the scattering field. The algorithm does not need to mesh or truncate the domain, it could obtain high accuracy by adding the number of basis functions. Some examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the approach.
