Abstract : (Abstracted from Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol 2018;229:132–136) Preterm birth (PTB) is a leading cause of perinatal morbidity and mortality. Over the last few years, cervical assessment has moved from digital examination to ultrasound evaluation, and ultrasound of the cervix has been the focus of much research.
