- Abstract: The crystal structure of L-Leucine (0.4%) doped Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate (LLADP) was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The molecular associations and bonding structure due to chemical reactions were analysed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic analysis. It also confirms the functional groups present in the grown crystals. The lower cut-off wavelength and band gap energy of the grown single crystal has been identified by UV-Visible study. Second harmonic generation (SHG) test adopting Kurtz-Perry technique revealed that the SHG efficiency of LLADP is 1.6 times greater than reference KDP crystal. Photoluminescence studies can be used to observe the intensity of grown LLADP single crystal
