- Abstract: Work-related burnout is a problem many professionals experience. While it can be difficult to diagnose and overcome, many strategies do exist. This article offers an exploration of the nature and effects of burnout, then outlines a long-term response based on recognition and validation of the problem, exploration and integration of employee personal values, application of autonomous job crafting techniques, and modification of workplace climate through attention to communication avenues and styles.
