Abstract

Abstract : Nursing knowledge development continues to face significant challenges, as there is not yet widespread acceptance of the important role of nursing theory in research, education, and professional practice. The purpose of this article is to describe perspectives on person, environment, health from different levels of knowledge development for the discipline of nursing. The authors recommend continued discourse among nurse scholars to advance the discipline of nursing globally.
