- Abstract : In article number1800789, Fengting Lv, Hsiao‐Hua Yu, Guillermo Bazan, Shu Wang, and co‐workers report thylakoid photosynthesis enhancement by conductive polyelectrolytes. Poly(fluorene‐ co ‐phenylene) (PFP) accelerates the light‐dependent reaction by Förster resonance energy transfer. Simultaneously, a well‐matched redox potential promotes the electron transfer between thylakoids and electrode. Innovative hybrid biophotoelectrodes integrating conducting polymers into natural photosynthetic thylakoid therefore open new opportunities for solar energy utilization and renewable energy development.
