- Highlights: Total Pelvic exenteration is feasible by an extraperitoneal approach. Extraperitoneal approach use subperitoneal and retroperitoneal space. Extraperitoneal approach facilitate the ureter and pelvic organs dissection. Extraperitoneal space can be dissected by laparoscopy.
