Abstract

Abstract : This cover picture shows, in the background, the mining process from ore to pure elemental sulfur (middle left) and copper (middle right). These two elements can be employed to form a variety of discrete and polymeric structures exhibiting soft S···S and strong Cu–S bonds, as seen here for copper(II) complexes comprising thiane moieties in their pyridyl‐alcohol ligands.
