- Graphical abstract: By employing oxo-centered trinuclear metal cluster and an amide-functionalized linker, an indium basedsoc -MOF has delicately constructed. The framework features integrated structural features (i.e. open metal sites, narrow and amide-functionalized channels), and thus offers good water stability, high CO2 uptake capacity as well as excellent CO2 /N2 selectivity. Abstract: Incorporating specific functionalities within the framework offers a significant opportunity to effectively improve gas capture ability and selectivity of MOFs. In this work, by employing oxo-centered trinuclear metal cluster and an amide-functionalized tetracarboxylate ligand (5-(3, 5-dicarboxybenzamido)-isophthalic acid) (H4 L), we have delicately constructed an indium basedsoc -MOF, [In3 (μ3 -O)(L)1.5 (H2 O)3 ][NO3 ]·5H2 O·EtOH·1.5DMF (1 ). Benefited from its integrated structural features (i.e. open metal sites, narrow and amide-functionalized channels), 1 demonstrates high CO2 uptake (119.0 cm 3 g −1 at 1 bar and 273 K) as well as excellent selectivity for CO2 over N2 (23.0 at 273 K). Moreover, enhanced high water stability makes1 promising material for the water adsorption.
