- Abstract: The integration of chemically functionalized RGO into PVA matrix via conventional biomimetic technique to enhance its electrochemical performance. Chemical reduction of exfoliated GO by employing hydrazine hydrate has been conducted which showed uniformity in interfacial dispersion. The modulation readily enhances electrical conductivity of the nanocomposite & can be effectively used in energy storage devices. It is elucidated that transformation of RGO sheets by acquisition of oxygen & nitrogen moieties manifests outstanding electrical applications. 1% RGO-PVA has shown 196 F/g capacitance and can be used to increase the electrical conductivity amidst other carbon based nanofillers. Thermal & structural properties were also investigated and proved that it can be employed as bio based electrode for electrical applications.
