Abstract : An unprecedented Tb(iii ) polycarboxylate, {[Tb4 (TTHA)2 (H2 O)4 ]·7H2 O} n (1 ), has been synthesized. Abstract : An unprecedented Tb(iii ) polycarboxylate, {[Tb4 (TTHA)2 (H2 O)4 ]·7H2 O} n (1 ), has been synthesized. It possesses an efficient proton transfer pathway formed by water molecules and carboxyl groups, which exhibits proton conductivity over 10 −2 S cm −1 at 295–358 K and 98% relative humidity.
