Abstract

Highlights: The effect of VWF on FVIII concentrates is debated. FVIII concentrates with or without VWF were added to hemophilic plasma and inhibitors. Thrombin generation (TG) was measured before/after addition of concentrates. FVIII inhibitor reactivity was assessed against each of the FVIII concentrates. FVIII/VWF was the least reactive to inhibitors and the most efficient in TG.
