Abstract

Abstract : A water-soluble titanium(iv )-oxo-cluster (K6 [K3 Ti3 O4 (O2 )3 (C7 H3 O4 N)3 (OH2 )2 ]Cl·4H2 O)1 has been successfully synthesized and it shows a 2D layered structure through the connection of potassium ions. Its application in photoelectrooxidation activity for DA was also investigated primarily. Abstract : A layered titanium(iv )-peroxo-pyridine dicarboxylic cluster K9 [Ti3 O4 (O2 )3 (C7 H3 O4 N)3 (OH2 )2 ]Cl·4H2 O1 has been synthesized by the H2 O2 -assisted reaction between TiCl4 and dipicolinic acid ligands. The semiconducting properties of this solid state compound were revealed from measurements of the diffuse reflectance UV-vis spectra and photocurrent response. Its photoelectrochemical sensing of dopamine was also investigated.
